The motorcycle has a brand new engine. It is a 249.07 CC, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, and BS6-compliant motor.
The motor is tuned to deliver 24.1bhp of peak power and 21.5Nm of peak torque. The gearbox is also a new 5-speed unit. A sixth gear would have been better. But Bajaj worked on the gear ratios in a manner that ensures linear performance. The engine comes paired with a slipper clutch. The reason is simple – a slipper clutch ensures that the rear wheel doesn’t lock up during aggressive downshifts.
The bike comes equipped with a tall windshield. The fuel tank is a 14-liter unit and comes with muscular looks. The seats are split and positioned in a step-up manner. An exhaust pipe is a side-slung unit with twin-exhaust tips.
