When one talks about powerful and hunky motorbikes, Bajaj is a brand to be revered in that conversation. Two of the most popular choices among people are the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 and the Bajaj Avenger Street 220. Both of them belong not only to the same company but also to the same brand. Though there are a number of focal features that resemble each other there are some major differences as well.
There is no difference between the engines of the two bikes. They are just as powerful as each other. With 220cc engines, both the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 and Bajaj Avenger Street 220 have a maximum power of 18.76 bhp @8400 rpm and a maximum torque of 17.5 Nm @7000 rpm. Both of them have 2 cylinders each with a carburetor fuel delivery and an oil-cooled cooling system. The self-start system of both bikes makes it easier for the driver to start the engine of the bikes.
This is where the real difference between the two models comes to light. In the case of fuel tank capacity, Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is a winner as it has a capacity of 14 liters in comparison to Cruise's 13 liters. On the other hand, Avenger Cruise has a better fuel reserve capacity of 3.8 Litres than Street's 3.4 liters. The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 gives a better mileage of 45 KMPL in comparison to its counterpart having that of 40 KMPL. There are shared wins and losses between the two.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is lesser in weight as well as body dimensions than Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220. The former has a curb weight of 150kg in comparison to its latter one having 159kg. Both of the bikes are pretty hefty and hunky. The Bajaj Street 220 has a lesser length at 2177mm than that of Cruise 220s 2210mm. Its width is also lower at 801mm than Cruiser 220's width of 806mm. The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has a greater height of 1142mm than that of Avenger Street 220 which has a height of 1070mm.
The wheel size of both Avenger Cruise 220 and Avenger Street 220 is the same at 17 inches which is good enough. The wheel types on both are different. While the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 sports a spoke wheel, its counterpart, the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 sports alloy wheels. The front tire of both the models is the same at 90/90-17" 49P and so is the rear tire of the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 at 130/90-15" 66P. Only the type of wheel used on each of these bikes differs.
There is no difference between the two of them when it comes to the chassis type which is the Tubular Double Cradle. Both of them have Rear Shock Absorbers when it comes to the rear suspension. The front suspension in both the bikes boasts of their Anti Friction Brush.
The approximate price of the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 in India is INR 1.04 lakhs. The approximate price of Bajaj Avenger Street 220, on the other hand, in India is INR 1.08 lakhs. The latter model is a bit costlier than the former one.
